Who this is

What is collected

Only what you choose to send. Depending on which form you use, that may include:

• Your name and email address
• Your phone number, if you provide one
• Your organization, event details or group details, if you are enquiring about speaking or training
• Whatever you write in the message field
• If you complete the Discover Your Identity assessment and choose to send your result, the profile name it produced

Your assessment answers are not collected. The assessment is scored entirely in your own browser. Your individual answers never leave your device and are not sent anywhere — only the profile name is included, and only if you fill in the form afterwards. You can take the assessment and read your result without submitting anything at all.

What is not collected

• No advertising or tracking pixels
• No analytics collecting your browsing behavior
• No cookies set by this website itself — the Google reviews display on the home page is provided by a third party that may set its own; see below
• No payment details — scheduling and purchases happen on third-party services with their own policies

How it is used

Information you provide is used to respond to your inquiry, communicate with you about services you request, provide requested information or resources, and maintain appropriate business records. Carole reads form submissions herself and responds personally. Your details are not added to a mailing list without your permission, and you will not receive marketing you did not request. Who can see it

Carole, and the services used to run the site:

• Netlify hosts this website and processes form submissions, which are stored in an account only Carole and her web team can access.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces this site uses. Loading a page requests those font files from Google, which involves your browser making a connection to Google's servers.
• Cal.com handles scheduling if you book a conversation. Anything you enter there is governed by their privacy policy.
• YouTube hosts her videos. Where a video appears on this site it is shown as a still image until you press play, so nothing loads from YouTube unless you choose to watch. The still itself is served from Google. Pressing play loads YouTube’s player in privacy-enhanced mode, and their terms apply from that point.
• Elfsight provides the live Google reviews display on the home page. Loading that section contacts Elfsight’s servers and it may set its own cookies. It shows only reviews already published publicly on Google, and it does not receive anything you type into a form here.
• Payhip handles book purchases if you buy from the resources page, under their own terms and privacy policy.

Your information is never sold, rented or shared for marketing purposes.

How long it is kept

Personal information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, provide a service you requested, maintain appropriate business records, or meet applicable legal and administrative requirements. Information that is no longer reasonably needed is deleted when appropriate.

Removing your information

You are welcome to ask what information is held about you, request a correction, or ask that information be deleted when there is no legal or legitimate business reason to retain it.

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. Information is not knowingly collected from children.
