Carole Mendoza, Christian life and business coach in Pooler, Georgia

Hi, I’m Coach Carole

I’m not here to give you another opinion. I’m here to help you get back to His.

For years I’ve had the privilege of coaching, teaching, speaking and walking alongside people through seasons of growth, transition, leadership and change — individuals working through a decision, and leaders responsible for a whole team.

The world will never run out of opinions about who you should be. My role is simple: ask good questions, point you back to God’s Word, and help you notice where the world’s language has gotten louder than His truth.

Questions before suggestions. Curiosity over criticism.

How I actually work.

You already have wisdom, gifts, experience and a relationship with God. You don’t need someone to hand you a list of answers, and I won’t pretend to tell you what God is saying to you.

What I will do is listen properly, ask the questions that get underneath the surface, challenge you where it helps, and keep bringing the situation back to what Scripture says about it — until the next step is clear enough for you to take.

Some of that work is personal. A lot of it is not. I coach business owners on growth and decisions, leaders on how they carry responsibility, and whole teams on how they work together — with the same foundation underneath all of it.

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

James 1:5

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.

Philippians 1:6

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

Isaiah 30:21

“God does the how. You do the do.”

Her story

Sometimes life changes in a moment.

A phone call. A diagnosis. A goodbye. There is a before, and there is an after.

For me, the after started when my mom died.

There are some questions we can avoid for a long time. What happens when the body stops? What happens to the person we love? Is death the end? Those questions became very real for me then, and I could not answer them from a distance any more.

There are moments when I miss her so much that I can physically feel it.

I am not going to tell you that faith made that simple. It did not. What I found instead was that grief and faith are not opposites. You can love God and still hurt. You can trust Him and still have questions. Grief is not proof that your faith is weak. It is usually proof that the relationship mattered.

And I learned something I now say to almost everyone I coach: what changed my life didn’t change my God. Before the loss, He was faithful. After it, He is still faithful. My circumstances never had the power to change His character.

I am still here. I still have people to love. I still have an assignment. And most importantly, I still have hope. That is why I do this work — because I have sat where you may be sitting, and I know the difference it makes to have someone ask the right question instead of handing you a tidy answer.

Background

Where this comes from.

Before coaching, my work was in education — a Master’s in Curriculum and Technology, advanced study in Educational Leadership, and years spent in K–12 and higher education. That background shapes how I coach: I think in terms of how people actually learn and change, not just what they should do differently.

Carole Mendoza Coaching has been open since 2019. Today I work with clients in Pooler and Savannah, across coastal Georgia, and by video throughout the United States — in English and Spanish.

Carole brings more than 25 years of experience in education, leadership and sales to her work as a coach, speaker and trainer. She has been a member of the Maxwell Leadership Certified Team since 2020 and earned her Christian Coach Certification through New Life Coach Inc. in 2011. She holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Technology and has completed advanced doctoral coursework in Educational Leadership.

Beyond the coaching room

Savannah knows her.

Chambers of commerce, church platforms, conference stages and local television — she is not a coach who only exists online.

Speaking and writing

Some of this happens in a room, and some of it on a page.

Alongside coaching I speak — keynotes and motivational speaking for churches, conferences, retreats and leadership teams — and I write. I’m the author of four books, including All-In Paragon and Whispers in the Battle, along with courses, prayer guides and the tools my clients use between our sessions.

I’ve also had the chance to share this work on local television with WSAV3.

What people say

The work speaks for itself, mostly.

Clients have described coaching that changed how they run a business, how they lead a team, and how they hear from God — often all three.
